Testimonials
"Increasingly Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) learners require access to a virtual Laboratory Information System (LIS) to prepare them for successful Clinical Placements and to be job ready upon graduation—but there is a significant lag in the industry for programs of this type. When we needed an LIS solution for our MLT program we approached Bryan with an idea and concept and the EdEHR team listened closely and collaborated with our subject matter experts to extend the EdEHR platform's capabilities—and thus the first Educational LIS of its kind was born. The result is a system that meets our profession-specific needs by incorporating the principles and features of Clinical-world LIS's. The EdEHR/LIS was designed specifically to reflect health authority systems, while also being accessible for novice learners. And the feedback from students, faculty, and industry partners is very positive! The EdEHR/LIS is integrated into all our Hematology, Hematopathology, and Urinalysis labs, simulations, and open labs and we are excited to grow this to include all MLS disciplines. Bryan and his team helped us find a sustainable solution that we've been able to embed into our curriculum—supporting our learners as they build essential skills and ensure that our graduates are ready for the "real-world" and prepared for success across BC and Canada."
