Measures to Support Accessibility

EdEHR takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of its software platform:

  • Include accessibility as an ongoing part of design and development.
  • Appoint an accessibility officer.
  • Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.

Conformance

EdEHR aims to conform with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

We welcome and encourage feedback regarding the accessibility of EdEHR. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers while using EdEHR, by reaching out to support@edehr.org.

We aim to respond to feedback within 1–2 business days.


Technical Specifications

The accessibility of EdEHR relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of your web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards stated above.


Assessment Approach

EdEHR assesses the accessibility of our platform using the following approaches:

  • Self-evaluation, using open-source, automated accessibility scanning tools.
